Miodrag Pantović
Miodrag Pantovic, graduated from the Belgrade University, Faculty of Law and completed his master’s degree at the Global Labor University in Berlin, specializing in the area of industrial relations relations recovery as a chance to overcome the problems between Serbia and Kosovo.
He works as a project coordinator for the European Trade Union Confederation, Regional Office in Belgrade, covering the territory of the former Yugoslavia. He is among few individuals in Southeastern Europe who deals with political demography and relations between demographics development, collective identities and their age structure as a cause for electoral and political homogenization as well as preconditions for the emergence of conflicts and crises in society. He has published several papers and articles in domestic and regional media on topics related to politics, demography, identity and modernization.
Currently he is writing a thesis at the Faculty of Demographics in Belgrade, which he plans to publish in the form of a book, dealing with the issue of demographic changes in Bosnia and Herzegovina as one of the causes of the 1992-1995 conflict.
He was born in Prijepolje, in Southwestern Serbia. His hobbies are conquering the Dinaric mountains and traveling to mountainous and forgetful parts of the region.
