Milan Krstić

Milan Krstic is a Political Scientist with an academic background in International Studies, International History, and Computing in Social Science. He obtained PhD, MA and BA degrees at the University of Belgrade and MSc degree at the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Milan currently works as an Assistant Professor at the International Studies Department, University of Belgrade – Faculty of Political Science. Milan is also a Senior Analyst and one of the founders of the Center for Social Dialogue and Regional Initiatives, a Belgrade-based think-tank.

He has published over 20 scientific articles in international and Serbian scientific journals, over ten open-access policy briefs/analyses, and over a dozen op-eds and short analyses published in Serbian weeklies (Vreme, NIN, Novi magazin etc.).

Milan regularly consults different actors and stakeholders on international and regional affairs. He has designed, managed, and implemented over 25 projects in academia and civil society.

The main empirical fields of interest of Milan Krstic are Serbian foreign policy; Western Balkan politics, security and history; U.S. foreign and security policy; US-Serbian relations; German foreign policy. His theoretical focus is on stigma in international relations, social constructivism, foreign policy analysis, and critical security studies.
