Tijana Rečević

Tijana Rečević is a Research Assistant at the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Political Sciences. Her primary academic and professional interests revolve around foreign policy and security architecture in the Euroatlantic and Western Balkans region, EU conflict management capacities, as well as the national security system and policy in Serbia. Alongside her academic achievements, Tijana has garnered valuable work, consultancy, or internship experience with the UNHCR Representation in Serbia, the OSCE Mission to Serbia,  and the EU Delegation to Serbia.

Tijana is currently a PhD Candidate at the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Political Sciences, focusing her research on the role of the public in foreign and security policy.

She holds an MSc degree in Conflict Studies from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), where she was a recipient of the Chevening Scholarship awarded by the UK Government. Prior to this, Tijana earned an MA degree in International Security from the Faculty of Political Sciences in Belgrade, where she also completed her BA studies in International Studies.
